Annette Funicello measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Annette Funicello had just turned thirteen when Walt Disney, the studio's director of production, spotted her performing in a Fullerton California amateur Swan Lake. Funicello didn't audition in The Mickey Mouse Club and joined after the beginning of season one of the series, much to the annoyance of her Mickey Mouse Club peers. Disney was correct when Funicello was The Mickey Mouse Club's most viewed performer. She also featured as a character in Adventures in Dairyland, her story. Funicello's potential to become a teenage superstar was soon realized. Disney hired Tutti Camerata who was a seasoned arranger to help her launch her career as a recording artist. Annette, however, was not a fan of Funicello singing. Funicello ultimately got used to recording and truly liked being a part of Camerata who was one of the few arrangements of the 40s that had access to the essential elements of the early rock music. Annette Sings Anka - her third album, was the first album to utilize the songs of an artist from the rock genre as selection of songs. Funicello starred as a character in Beach Party the first of five film about beach parties, typically featuring Frankie Avalon although produced by AIP and the scripts of every one of these films was personally read and approved by Walt Disney in order to protect Annette's squeaky-clean image. Funicello films played a key role in the development of breaking artists. Stevie Wonder performed in Muscle Beach Party.
