Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actor from Australia. Her filmography includes such roles in Heidi from Somersault 2004 Fanny Brawne, Sweet pea in Suckerpunch, Lindy in Limitless 2011 Clara Murphy in RoboCop 2014 and Sarah in Geostorm 2017. Also, she worked with Martin McDonagh on Seven Psychopaths 2012 and Three Billboards outside Ebbing Missouri (2017). Cornish received her very first Screen Actors Guild Award in the ensemble cast for this film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin starred in Adventureland, (2009) while Ann McDonough played the role of The Mothman Prophecies and other films. Betty Gilpin was able to make the choice to be an actor thanks to the love and support that she was given by her parents. When the time came to go back to college, she chose Fordham College where she learned how to perfect her craft. Gilpin was still auditioning for TV and film parts while appearing in Off Broadway productions. She landed a role as on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent 2001-2011 and then small parts in Ghost Town (2008), and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin continued to nab mostly TV guest appearances in the years following until she was able to get her first break in 2013 with a recurring role on Nurse Jackie. The character of Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared on 34 episodes in the show before Nurse Jackie was cancelled in June of 2015. Gilpin appeared the same year on True Story, a mystery thriller.
